Hey friend,

I was in Dubai a while ago.

You know what Dubai is like.

Lamborghinis parked outside hotels. Watches that cost more than apartments.

Everyone showing wealth like their life depends on it.

And I just... didn't feel it.

Not because I couldn't see the appeal. But because I was comfortable. With my people, with where I was going, with what I was building.

I drove home in taxis. No urge to upgrade to a supercar.

That moment taught me something Morgan Housel writes about in The Psychology of Money

Wealth is what you don't see.

The people driving the Lamborghinis? You don't know their debt. You see the highlight, never the backstory.

Real wealth is quiet.

It's the investment you made instead of the watch you didn't buy. It's the asset in the background, growing while you sleep.

Here's what I actually believe about money after years of building businesses

Getting rich and staying rich are two completely different skills. Getting rich takes risk and optimism. Staying rich takes discipline and the ability to resist showing off.

The other thing nobody tells you:

Your behaviour with money matters more than your intelligence.

I have met very smart people who are broke. I have also met very average people who are quietly wealthy.

The difference was never IQ. It was always the behaviour.

Small decisions made consistently over a long time.

Compounding is not just a financial concept. It's a life concept.

The longer you stay in the game in your health, in your business, in your relationships the more it pays.

Warren Buffett made most of his wealth after the age of 50. Not because he got smarter. Because he stayed consistent for long enough.

So wherever you are right now just stay in the game.

Don't spend to impress people who aren't paying your bills.

Buy assets. Build quietly. Let time do the heavy lifting.

True wealth is freedom. Not a car. Not a watch.

The ability to wake up and choose how you spend your day.

That's what I'm building. I hope you are too.

Your biggest fan

Abi
